Questa sera, venerdì 27 marzo, sarà Caparezza, inesauribile talento musicale nostrano, che calcherà il palco dello spazio sociale di Marghera in provincia di Venezia. Michele Salvemini, in arte Caparezza (nome dovuto alla sua folta e inconfondibile capigliatura, “testa riccia” in dialetto di Molfetta, sua terra natale) è un’artista camaleontico ed eclettico. La vita artistica di Michele Salvemini si divide in due tronconi: “quando aveva i capelli corti” e “quando aveva i capelli lunghi”. “Quando aveva i capelli corti” le sue opere erano acerbe, svuotate di senso critico e per nulla scomposte. “Quando aveva i capelli lunghi”, invece, la sua poetica divenne ficcante, urticante ed altri aggettivi ancora, permettendogli di pubblicare ben 4 dischi e chissà quanti altri ancora. Caparezza diventa noto in patria per aver composto “Fuori dal Tunnel”, la sua opera più apprezzata nonchè vero tormentone estivo, feroce critica ad una comunità devota al divertimento che decide di adottarla come inno trovandola, appunto, divertente (fatto curioso perché contrario alle intenzioni dell’autore che si è sempre dichiarato lontano dalle logiche di mercato e dal mainstream). Nel 2008 pubblica il libro “Saghe Mentali” - caso letterario dell’anno - e il disco “Le dimensioni del mio Caos”, primo in classifica per ben 5 mesi e “primo fotoromanzo nella storia della musica italiana”. Il libro è un vero e proprio luna park musicale dove il rock anni ’70 in stile Jimi Hendrix si mescola alle atmosfere elettropop da sigla di cartoni tv. Ad agosto 2008 partecipa alla “Notte della taranta” di Melpignano, in provincia di Lecce, un tradizionale e coinvolgente concerto dove si intrecciano tradizioni popolari salentine e culture orientali ed etniche…poi altri concerti per giungere a questo live del Rivolta.
