Arte - Entourage, questo il titolo della prossima personale di Alan De Cecco, designer che lavora attraverso diversi mezzi espressivi – dalla pittura ai graffiti, dalla grafica al video – e che sceglie,
per Arte Due Gallery, di presentare una serie di 8 ambienti, in cui centrali sono la tela e il suo incontro con il suono.
Le immagini create sulla tela da Alan De Cecco sono una sintesi tra suggestioni sonore e visive. Esse condensano le impressioni provenienti dalla realtà con un linguaggio minimale, con l'eliminazione delle informazioni superflue per giungere direttamente al fruitore, attraverso l'uso di linee semplici, di curve pulite, del bianco e nero come unici colori, in cui il dinamismo, l'interdipendenza tra due e tre dimensioni e il disturbo percettivo hanno le basi nelle ricerche optical degli anni sessanta. Ma l'opera di De Cecco non si ferma alla sola percezione visiva: fondamentale per il designer è anche il suono.
Le tele di De Cecco, studiate preliminarmente con l'ausilio di programmi 3D, nascono accompagnate dal suono e, successivamente, vivono con esso. Per Entourage il designer ha infatti coinvolto Lorenzo Commisso, con cui lavora per il progetto “Papier Collés”, che ne ha realizzato la sezione audio.
Un doppio, inscindibile codice, quindi. Una musica che ispira atmosfere eteree, astratte, fredde e figure dai movimenti illusori che rivelano un ancoraggio all'architettura, un'attenzione ai materiali costruttivi, agli scorci, alle linee geometriche.
Ne risulta un mondo a se stante, una realtà autre dell'ambiente, formato dalla tela e dallo spazio audio-visivo ad essa antistante, compreso nell'opera insieme al suo fruitore.
Biografia
Alan De Cecco è nato a Palmanova (UD) nel1977. Dal 2006 vive a Milano, dove lavora come graphic-designer.
Dal 2006 realizza live-media performance per il progetto “Papiers Collés”. Si tratta di un progetto audio-video del trio del quale De Cecco fa parte insieme a Stefano Giust e Lorenzo Commisso, segnalato al Premio Nazionale delle Arti Multimediali 2005 del Ministero dell'Istruzione dell'Università e della Ricerca - Dipartimento per l'Università, l'alta formazione artistica, musicale e coreutica.
Papier Collés ha già avuto luogo alla Galleria Neon (Bologna, 2005), Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna (2005), Villa Manin – Centro d’Arte Contemporanea (Passariano, UD, 2005), Sound Metak (Milano, 2006), Edera (Codroipo, UD, 2006), Bunker Padiglione 14 (Torino, 2007), Contemplari (Treviso, 2007).
Dal 2005 De Cecco produce performance video per artisti come Ellen Allien, Magazzini Generali (Milano, 2008); Alex Under, Bitte (Milano, 2008); Sashe Funke, Bitte (Milano, 2008); Trak Label, Bitte (Milano, 2008); Donnacha Costello, Bitte (Milano, 2008); Stewart Walker, Tod Bodine, Daso, Jim Choi, Lucio Aquilina.
Ha partecipato alla rassegna “VideoClip” organizzata da CEC - Centro Espressioni Cinematografiche (ed. 2004 e 2005); alla mostre collettive “Contemparts” (Vicenza, 2005); “Anteprima FVG”, SPAC Spazio pubblico Arte Contemporanea (Buttrio, UD, 2007); “Vuote a Rendere”, Arte Due Gallery (Milano, 2008); live painting a Salso Maggiore Terme (2008); “Write for Food”, Old Fashion (Milano, 2008).
