Emanuele Colandrea, Corrado Maria De Santis, Fabrizio Colella e Matteo Scannicchio, si presentano con nuove sonorità ed una nuova formazione, con il nome di Eva mon Amour.
L’8 gennaio, ad anticipare l’uscita del nuovo album Senza Niente Addosso (29Records/Self), esce il singolo, INDI.
“Tre minuti e mezzo di sound elettrico, istintività e sudore. Da qui la scelta di registrare in presa diretta per lasciare intatte sia queste caratteristiche che l’immediatezza dei suoni, come anche il trascorrere a perdifiato del testo, quasi a voler inseguire a parole l’indipendenza nelle sue molteplici manifestazioni.” Così gli Eva Mon Amour hanno descritto il loro primo singolo.
Il brano, di cui a febbraio uscirà il videoclip per la regia di Diego Lazzarin, era già uscito in una versione demo, diventando un vero e proprio inno per la musica indipendente. Pubblicato nella prima versione a maggio 2008, INDI, è stato selezionato per far parte della compilation che ha rappresentato l'Italia all'Independents Day, la manifestazione di respiro internazionale lanciata dall'associazione WIN in tutto il mondo. I 15 brani italiani sono stati scelti da una speciale giuria formata dagli organizzatori del Mei, dai giornalisti specializzati e dagli operatori del settore. Il tour ha preso al via nel giugno 2008 con la presenza della band all’Heineken Jammin’ Festival, nella stessa giornata che ha visto l’esibizione dei Police. Gli Eva Mon Amour sono approdati sul palco di uno dei più prestigiosi eventi live europei, dopo una selezione che ha visto la partecipazione di 2500 band.
Lo scorso settembre, in concomitanza con la prosecuzione del tour, la band è tornata in studio per completare il nuovo album.
Senza Niente Addosso, in uscita a partire da venerdì 23 gennaio, è stato ultimato negli ultimi mesi del 2008 dopo una lavorazione durata oltre un anno e svolta in molteplici location, tra cui le Officine Meccaniche a Milano. I nuovi brani sono stati mixati da Alessandro Canini al Martina's Studio di Anzio (RM) e masterizzati da Stuart Hawkes al Metropolis Studio di Londra.
Prodotto da 29RECORDS, l'album sarà distribuito da SELF nei negozi e da BELIEVE in tutti gli store di download digitale.
Undici canzoni, un percorso musicale attraverso i nuovi e testi e le nuove sonorità della band che approda in ultimo nella bonus track: la dodicesima traccia disponibile in download esclusivamente nel contenuto multimediale presente nel CD, un "booklet digitale" con ulteriori contenuti inediti da ascoltare e visionare. Nello stesso giorno della pubblicazione, la nuova creazione discografica viene presentata al pubblico e alla stampa sul palco del CIRCOLO DEGLI ARTISTI, una delle più prestigiose location musicali delle capitale.
