In questo gioco di scatole cinesi, matrioske immaginarie, di città in preda all'oblio, cangianti, distrutte, resistenti, deserte e affollate, senza orizzonti, la sfida è trovare le chiavi di accesso. La ricerca delle albe (intese anche come rinascite) è una costante, e l'uomo che lotta e prova a cambiare la realtà circostante o a non assuefarsi è a suo modo un Ulisse o un Galileo, circondato da corvi e sirene e miraggi, in vendita o meno.
Psychobabele è un album di azione, d'impatto. La parola sfida è dentro le sue corde. E anche se gli elementi naturali sono così presenti, questo è un album urbano, di città in qualche modo nevrotiche, perché dimentiche di sé e del loro ruolo di comunità.
Nel deserto è il miraggio che spinge ad andare oltre. Senza miraggio, si attende solo passivamente il proprio destino. È una illusione, forse, ma talvolta produce nell'uomo riverberi di una realtà più grande.
I Leitmotiv riuniscono cinque elementi dalle personalità forti e diverse, originando una miscela dinamica ed esplosiva che copre e riscopre generi, sonorità e lingue. I Leitmotiv hanno pubblicato alla fine del 2008 il loro primo LP, L'Audace Bianco Sporca il Resto (La Fabbrica/Lunatik/CNI Music). Il disco ha riscosso ottimi giudizi di pubblico, critica e addetti ai lavori, destando interesse per la complessità e la carica innovativa dell'opera. E' stato Disco della settimana su Caterpillar, Radio Rai 2.
L'Audace Bianco Sporca in Tour ha raggiunto più di cento tappe in un anno (2008/2009), in tutta Italia e all'estero. In questa cornice i Leitmotiv sono stati scelti per rappresentare la musica indipendente italiana al Monkey Week Festival a Siviglia (Spagna), e alla BJCEM - Biennale dei Giovani Artisti dell'Europa e del Mediterraneo, a Skopje (Macedonia) e il loro 2011 si apre con un nuovo album e un nuovo tour.
