Per la gioia del popolo post-punk, l’indie rock nostrano torna a dare prova della sua viva presenza con Il Teatro degli Orrori. Il gruppo si è formato nel 2005 da quattro grandi della scena indipendente italiana quali Pierpaolo Capovilla (One Dimensional Man), Francesco Valente, Gionata Mirai (Super Elastic Bubble Plastic) e Giulio Favero. L’ambizione del gruppo, come spiega Pierpaolo, è di assumere la fisionomia del rock dei Melvins, degli Scratch Acid, dei King Crimson, ma anche della tradizione cantautoriale italiana, unita all’enfasi del monologo teatrale. Molte mete del gruppo sono d’altra parte esplicitate anche dalla mutuazione del proprio nome da Il Teatro della Crudeltà di Antonin Artuad e dalla futura sonorizzazione di Lettera aperta al Pci di Carmelo Bene.
In attesa del nuovo video della band, previsto per fine ottobre, e dell’uscita dell’annunciato ed atteso split album con gli Zu, il gruppo ha deciso di arricchire il proprio tour con nuove date:
