Eventi - Primo appuntamento live di febbraio con Micol Martinez. Dalle 22.00, Ragoo ospita la cantautrice Micol Martinez, le sue sonorità e il mondo intimista, colorato e sensuale

che caratterizza i suoi testi.

La sua musica viaggia tra i generi, irradiata dall’amore per il rock e da qualche sfumatura di blues. Le storie narrate rientrano nella tradizione del cantautorato, con qualche momento puramente onirico che fa pensare alla magia dei cantastorie. In esse non è difficile imbattersi in creature fantastico-umane che rappresentano la realtà quotidiana con paradossi e contrasti: ne è un esempio L'uomo senza spina dorsale, un essere condannato a trascinare il suo pieghevole busto che ucciderà l'amore per non doverlo affrontare.
La poliedrica artista cittadina del mondo (che vanta collaborazioni illustri con nomi del calibro di Cesare Basile, Garbo e Dave Muldoon), si esibirà in un concerto acustico che anticipa l’imminente uscita del suo primo album da solista.

Bio
Micol Martinez nasce a Milano, da una famiglia di origine spagnola. Trascorre l’infanzia a Parigi, influenzata culturalmente dal padre, manager economista ma anche cantautore, nonché amico di Roberto Vecchioni, e dai nonni materni: lei pittrice croata e lui contrabbandiere di sigarette ferrarese.
Collabora con molte band milanesi e dal 2007 lavora al suo progetto solista.
Nel 2008 presta la voce nel cd Storia di Caino di Cesare Basile e nel disco Little Boy Blue di Dave Muldoon.
Nello stesso anno apre alcune date del tour estivo di Max Gazzè e appare a Scalo 76, ospitata da Garbo (con il quale sono previste molte collaborazioni nel 2009) cantando in duetto con lui.
In attesa dell’ imminente uscita del suo primo album del disco d’esordio, è impegnata in una serie di concerti sparsi sull’intera penisola, alternando Live Set acustici a show completi, avvalendosi di turnisti di alto livello.
Micol è anche attrice e dj. Il suo primo film da protagonista, Tagliare le parti in grigio di Vittorio Rifranti, è stato premiato al Festival di Locarno 2007 come Migliore Opera Prima. Ha lavorato con diversi registi teatrali e collabora frequentemente con il regista Paolo Trotti. E' attrice in opere di video arte e video clip musicali (La Crus, Solidamor, Negrita). Alcuni storici locali dell’ambiente indi milanese la scelgono come dj: La Casa 139, Cox 18, Goganga.
