Talenti emergenti: emerging talents

Arte Emergente - Un premio e una mostra per offrire ai giovani artisti italiani l’opportunità di farsi conoscere. Questo è l’obiettivo del progetto Talenti Emergenti / Emerging Talents,

creato dalla Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi e realizzato dal CCCS, Centro di Cultura Contemporanea Strozzina di Firenze.
Tra le numerose attività espositive che puntano a valorizzare i talenti nazionali, Emerging Talents si distingue per la sua formula, che prevede due fasi di selezione affidate a due diverse commissioni giudicatrici. Nella prima fase, cinque tra i più affermati curatori ed esperti d’arte italiani (Andrea Bellini, Luca Cerizza, Caroline Corbetta, Andrea Lissoni e Paolo Parisi) hanno indicato cinque nomi ciascuno, indicando i 25 giovani talenti che esporranno al CCCS di Firenze dal 23 gennaio al 29 marzo 2009.
Nella seconda fase, una commissione internazionale formata da esperti internazionali tra cui Rudolf Frieling (curatore del San Francisco Moma), Hubertus Gassner (direttore della Kunsthalle Amburgo) e Kathrin Becker (direttore del Neuer Berliner Kunstverein), sceglierà due vincitori tra i 25 artisti in mostra: i premiati otterranno una borsa di studio per svolgere un periodo di ricerca presso la Künstlerhaus Bethanien di Berlino e il Netherlands Media Art Institute Montevideo di Amsterdam.
I nomi su cui puntare? Nico Vascellari, Marinella Senatore e Marzia Migliora.
