Il regista Tom Di Cillo ha trovato il modo di ricordarci e raccontarci la poetica e la rivoluzione portata dai Doors e dal re lucertola, Jim Morrison. Un rockumentary imperdibile che nella versione italiana ha Morgan come voce narrante. Questa pellicola narra in un'ora e mezza la storia dei Doors, fatta di alcool, droga, poesia e rock and roll. In questo lungometraggio emergono, giustamente, anche le personalità meno in vista della band Ray Manzarek lo storico tastierista e Robby Kriger il chitarrista. Dopo aver visto questo film sarà ancora più chiaro che: "una cosa è certa: non ti puoi bruciare se non ti sei prima acceso".
